no technically it’s an Accord converted to LHD for other markets where it’s badged as an Acura TSX for some reason unknown to mankind but in the end it’s an Accord at heart....but other than Oppo’s favorite muscle car what the hell is this....its not a true Accord in my eyes

Well the TSX technically has a different engine not offered in the Accord of that generation: K24a2. Yes, yes, the Accord has the virtually identical K24a3, but it's technically different and unique.

Thats an easy one. Market perception. Countless people don’t know Acura is Honda- which offers Honda the chance to try to sell the car at a slight premium. Americans are largely brand snobs and care about such silly things.

That said - this owner exhausted time and/or money to put a different badge on their car. This I don't understand. The TSX is technically unique and it's a great car. Why pretend it's an Accord?

I know there is an Accord equivalent TSX, but its unclear if it's a real Accord or a real TSX. Only way it's an accord is if they are in a LHD euro country that got that Accord - and I'm not sure such a place exists.
